Warranty & Australian Consumer Law

Last Updated: July 4, 2026

At Paco's Pupps & Dogs, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. This policy explains your rights under Australian Consumer Law and any additional warranties that may apply to products purchased from us.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure; and
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Product Quality Guarantee

We expect all products sold by Paco's Pupps & Dogs to:

  • Be of acceptable quality;
  • Match their description;
  • Be fit for their intended purpose;
  • Be safe and durable when used as intended.

If you believe a product does not meet these standards, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may include a manufacturer's warranty in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Where a manufacturer's warranty applies:

  • The manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, your rights under Australian Consumer Law;
  • Warranty periods and coverage may vary depending on the product and manufacturer;
  • We may assist customers in making warranty claims where appropriate.

Warranty Claims Process

To submit a warranty claim, please contact us at asabreu093@gmail.com and provide:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase;
  • A description of the issue;
  • Clear photographs or videos of the product;
  • Any other information reasonably required to assess the claim.

We may request that the product be returned for inspection where necessary.

Remedies

Where a product fails to comply with Australian Consumer Law or an applicable warranty, we may provide one of the following remedies, depending on the nature of the issue and as required by law:

  • Replacement;
  • Refund; or
  • Other remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Approved refunds will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a nominated Australian bank account.

Exclusions

This warranty policy does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper use;
  • Damage caused by modifications or unauthorized repairs;
  • Damage caused by failure to follow product instructions;
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the product.

These exclusions do not apply where prohibited by Australian Consumer Law.

Pet Product Safety

Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their pet's size, breed, age, health, and behaviour.

Pets should always be supervised when using toys, accessories, feeding products, harnesses, leads, beds, or other pet products. Discontinue use immediately if a product becomes damaged or unsafe.
